FREEBIE Wednesday!!!

Woowee am I having a SUPA busy time.  It's birthday month in this little ol household, DH had his last Sat so it was dinner out then cake and coffee at home.  DD's birthday Tuesday, but the big celebration is this Saturday as it is her 21st ^.^  Monday was just a crazy day as I was trying to fit everything in, shopping, clean house, make a mud cake, fix the birthday girls dress, check the pool, cook for the week (I had soup in the slow cooker, spaghetti in the fry pan and cake in the oven), iron DH shirts and pants for a conference he is attending this week.  The cake was a trial run for Saturdays extravaganza, caramel mud cake with caramel icing covered in white royal icing with peach coloured icing made into a ribbon and bow.  I didn't get to bed until 12am o_O

Still the cake was a success Tuesday, even if I forgot the candles and camera.  Wow can you say what an awesome Mum...NOT!!!  Saturdays cake will be a two tier mud cake - white on the bottom, chocolate on the top.  Decorated with royal icing in the colours of pink, peach, white and somewhere in there a bit of silver...hehehehe. Fingers crossed the cake looks good when it is finished, I will def take a photo - I promise...lol.
